{"id":1,"date":"2025-06-12T15:43:30","date_gmt":"2025-06-12T15:43:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/startersites.io\/blocksy\/charity\/?p=1"},"modified":"2026-01-15T17:33:31","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T17:33:31","slug":"hello-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peretzfoundation.org\/?p=1","title":{"rendered":"PERETZ FOUNDATION Supports New Public Art in Community Grant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Empowering Mississippi Through Art, Music &amp; Placemaking<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PERETZ FOUNDATION is proud to stand alongside the&nbsp;<strong>Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC)<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Levitt Foundation<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Visit Mississippi<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Mississippi Main Street Association<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>Mississippi Humanities Council<\/strong>&nbsp;in launching the transformative&nbsp;<strong>Mississippi Public Art in Community Grant<\/strong>\u2014a bold initiative designed to ignite creativity, community pride, and economic growth through accessible public art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf1f A New Era of Creative Placemaking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a placemaking revolution happening,\u201d said David Lewis, Executive Director of MAC. \u201cPublic art brings life back to forgotten spaces and sparks economic development.\u201d At PERETZ, we couldn\u2019t agree more. This grant is about more than murals and sculptures\u2014it\u2019s about creating vibrant destinations that reflect the soul of Mississippi\u2019s communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting in&nbsp;<strong>Fiscal Year 2026<\/strong>, two Mississippi-based nonprofits will receive a combined grant of&nbsp;<strong>$27,500+<\/strong>&nbsp;to design and install public art. But that\u2019s just the beginning.
